Formic Pro Strips are used for the treatment of varroa mites. Formic Pro is perfect for beekeepers that don't want to mix liquid formic acid with pads.
These new improved strips contain a Formic Acid polysaccharide gel. They have a longer shelf life (2 years) than the previous MAQS (Mite Away Quick Strips).
When placed in the heart of the honey bee hive, it kills the Varroa mite where it reproduces, under the brood cap.
Formic Acid is organically certified and eliminates residue risk, allowing beekeepers to use it safely during the honey flow.
