Please note that the combination of oxalic acid and heat can cause silicone to deteriorate. Keeping the silicone parts clean will add to their lifespan.

In windy, colder weather, 20-30% more hives can be treated. Also helps keep the device clean, as the oxalic acid will fall into it instead of on the machine.

The silicone must be tightly pressed onto the device, leaving no gap underneath. It can be left on the appliance after use; it does not have to be removed.

Oxalic acid and heat can cause deterioration in silicone. For a longer life, please brush any oxalic acid away from the stem area if it accumulates there.
