"Wendy Park, a third-generation beekeeper, was raised in the world of queen selection and breeding, learning from her grandfather, Homer Park, and her father, Steve Park—both pioneers in the industry. In 2010, Wendy Park married Josh Sullivan, who quickly embraced the art of beekeeping under Steve Park’s guidance. Just three years later, in 2012, Josh Sullivan Beekeeping was born. Since then, we have proudly supplied our top-tier queens through Jackie Park Burris Queens.
Family is at the heart of our success. With our four daughters—Stevie, Paylyn, Abelha, and Merica—we continue to build on this rich heritage. In 2025, we established SPAM, LLC, Sullivan Park Apiaries Management, taking the next step in our journey, acquiring Steve Park Apiaries’ Queen-rearing operation in Palo Cedro, California, as a continuation of the Park family’s tradition of excellence.
Our queens are bred with one goal in mind: to create thriving, productive colonies that stand the test of time. Here’s what sets our queens apart:

Pick up:
You can meet us in Winnipeg when they arrive or pick them up shortly after we return to Dufresne. We will notify you in advance via email.
Queens need to be picked up 1-2 days after arrival to optimize survival and to avoid forfeiture of the non-refundable livestock purchase.

We generally email the week before arrival to notify you of the expected arrival schedule. If there are any changes, we will email you as soon as we know.
Pre-payment in full is required on all Queen orders.
