These beehive supers are wax-dipped for four minutes in 300° F Hive Guard Wax, which penetrates deeply into the wood. Then, to make these boxes incredibly long-lasting, we dip them briefly for a second time to seal the outside. These Dancing Bee Equipment hive boxes are manufactured in Canada with standard 7/8” thickness commercial-grade red pine lumber. All our hive boxes are finger-jointed, making them durable and long-lasting. Easy-to-grip handholds will make even the heaviest honey or brood more manageable.
