About Us

Dancing Bee started off as a small apiary with only 16 hives. Our founder, Todd Kalisz, had a passion for beekeeping and building his own woodenware. His hobby soon flourished into a small business. As demand for his woodenware grew, Todd began to source and design additional products. Dancing Bee has grown rapidly and is now the #1 beekeeping equipment supplier in Canada.

The quality of our woodenware sets us apart from the rest! It's manufactured in Canada from solid pine. We use all of our woodenware in our own apiaries, allowing us to constantly test our products for quality and durability. We are then able to revise our products to ensure they meet our standards and yours.

We have a huge selection of beekeeping supplies to fit your needs. If you have any questions about our products or beekeeping in general, please feel free to contact us. Our sales staff will be happy to help you find the best products for your individual needs.

In 2018, Dancing Bee Inc. acquired The Bee Works, Beekeeping Supplies and Resources.

In 2020, Dancing Bee Equipment opened its second retail location east of Winnipeg, MB.

In 2021 Dancing Bee's flagship Port Hope location moved to our new location beside Highway 401 west bound on ramp 461 on Toronto Road (Hwy 2) in Port Hope.  The new location includes The Bee Works Honey & Gift Shop, a state of the art bottling facility and a new 55,000 square foot warehouse.

In 2022 Dancing Bee Inc. acquired an ownership share in Early Queen Arrivals in partnership with Mark Kalisz.
