The 110-volt Chromalox adjustable heat unit warms the water in the outer jacket, and the honey flows easily to your pump under the baffles, while the impurities rise to the surface. They are stopped by the baffles and easily skimmed off. Heavier debris sinks to the bottom of the sump and is stopped from draining out by the raised outlet.
